These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of verifyfiltering.com and the VerifyFiltering monitoring service, operated by CleanBrowsing Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VerifyFiltering provides a free scanner that tests how a network's DNS filtering handles domains in known content categories, and paid plans that monitor enrolled devices on a schedule and produce compliance reports.

2. Acceptable Use

• You may only scan networks that you own or are authorized to test.
• You may not use the service to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to third-party networks.
• You may not resell scan results or reports as your own certification service without our written consent.

3. Results Are Informational

Scan results and reports indicate how your network resolved specific test domains at the time of the scan. They are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute legal certification of compliance with CIPA, UK statutory guidance, Friendly WiFi certification, or any other standard. Certification decisions rest with the relevant certifying or regulatory body.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity of the service.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically.
• Changing your plan — up or down — takes effect immediately, with charges prorated for the remainder of your current billing period.
• Cancelling your subscription takes effect immediately: dashboard access ends right away, and we do not provide a prorated refund for the unused portion of your billing period.
• Prices may change; we will notify you before a change affects your renewal.

6. Intellectual Property

The service, including its software, category lists, and report formats, is owned by CleanBrowsing Inc. and its licensors. You retain ownership of your data; you grant us the license needed to operate the service on your behalf.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanBrowsing Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
